Design Spun are a processing plant of the goat wool fibre known as mohair. They put the wool through several processes to produce a finished article that is a high quality, strong and colourful fabric.

“Design spun processes a wide range of mohair wool through from the young goat to the strong adult, it really depends what fibre is required for what end product.

A lot of our production is based on mohair wool, on mohair fibre and we certainly think there’s some good opportunities and some good prospects for mohair as a fibre and as an end product as well.”
