Are there any photographers you would recommend?

No. We may add a list of recommended photographers for certain regions but currently we aren’t recommending anyone in particular.


Can you use my video footage to create a video?

Yes! This is a good option if we don’t have a camera person in your area. We do however like to be involved with the project as early as possible. Preferably before the footage is taken. That way we can work with the camera person from the start. We have however done projects before where we have taken existing footage, even wrongly formatted, and edited it with a scripted voice over. We think the more involved we can be, the more control we have, and the better the final result. For these projects please get in touch.


Can you upload my existing video and seo it for me?

Sorry we can’t. We upload videos to our YouTube channel and we want to make sure we don’t appear to be stealing other’s videos. however I have written blog’s on the subject so you can have a read of them and do it yourself!


Why do you use YouTube so much?

YouTube is the best way to get the most views and exposure to your video. It does have some drawbacks as well and so sometimes it is best not to upload it. For most of the projects we deal with however it is the recommended approach. For more details on this topic please see the relevant blog post.


What if I don’t want it on YouTube?

Simply mention that in the notes section of the online form. We’ll then create the promotion and email you the file and transcript and you can load it onto whatever platform you wish.


Do I have to have the InSite media credit at the end of my video?

By default we add our credit to the end of videos we create. If you don’t want it on there then we can leave it off. Please just indicate that you want it removed in the notes section when filling out the forms online or if dealing direct just let us know.


What formats can you export in?

We can export in pretty much any format you want. By default we export in flash format (.flv). If you require additional formats or would rather have a different format please let us know in the notes section of the online form or in your other correspondence.


What if I don’t like the result?

Our live video options begin with a first edit. Then a round of changes and a final edit. So after we have created our first edit you can make as many changes as you wish. If you later change your mind or make further changes there may then be a charge (although you will be fully informed at that stage and can make a decision).

In an effort to keep down costs our photo video options don’t come with options to make changes. We create the video, upload it and send it to you. If you want the photos in a particular order there is the option to send them to us that way. Please make sure you fill in the form correctly. If you do decide you want minor changes we can do that but it involves a lot of steps for re-uploading and other such work and so we charge 25% of the full price of the product to make changes. If it involves being re-voiced then it will be charged at 50% of the full price of the product. If we have made a mistake from the information you have sent us then the mistakes are corrected free of charge.


What if I want to make changes to my video at a later date?

That’s fine! Whatever the project was we can make changes to it. For photo video products that is charged at 25% of the full product price. If it also requires a new voice over that is 50% of the full product price. Video project changes are charged on a case by case basis depending on how extensive the changes are. What geographical areas can you video in?

We can film anywhere but there may be extensive travel costs involved! Within the Northland and Auckland region of New Zealand we can film without travel charges. Contact us to set up an appointment. Booking is essential!


Do you give bulk discounts or affiliate discounts?

Yes. We are always keen to build relationships with businesses. If you want to use us regularly then get in touch and we can discuss a potential working relationship.


My photos and information are already online, do I have to upload them to the form still?

No you don’t! As long as they are in a clear and easy place for us to access we can usually pull them from the site. Get in touch direct and we can discuss it with you. A Good example of this situation is when a real estate company wants a video for a listing In those cases we just pull them from the listing page.


What format do you shoot in?

We shoot in HDV format 16:9.


What camera do you use?

We currently film using a Sony V1 in HD mode.


What software do you edit with?

We use the Apple Final Cut studio suite for all editing, graphics and compression. Plus Photoshop!
